Two Pete Davidson first half tries leads Princeton over Cornell

Ithaca, NY - Princeton traveled to Ithaca this past Saturday for a match against the Big Red of Cornell. Following an 0-2 start, Princeton recorded its first victory of the season with a 20-7 win over Cornell. With the loss, the Big Red fell to a disappointing 0-3 after three home matches.

Princeton went out to a 13-7 first half lead on two Pete Davidson tries and a penalty kick. Stephen Crook scored Cornell’s lone try and Beno Sorrenson converted.

Princeton increased its lead to 20-7 with a try by Zak Deschaine that was converted.
